The Centre for Personal Enhancement was founded in 2002 by Dr. Deniz Akyurekli MD.FRCSC. The Centre which operates out of Owen Sound, Ontario specializes in surgical & non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

The Centre started with a staff of 4 and was located on 2nd Ave East at the borders of the cities centre. In 2004 The Centre found its new home in the heart of the city and is now located off Owen Sound's main artery 10th Street East.

It was there that Dr. Akyurekli’s vision became closer to reality. The facility is over 5000 square feet, counts over 15 employees’ and houses The Owen Sound Surgical Centre, an accredited facility which boasts 2 operating rooms and a 3 bed recovery.
