Dr Akyurekli is a fellow of the royal college of surgeons of Canada since 1998, with specialty training in Otolaryngology and head and neck surgery and further specialization in Facial Plastic Surgery. Over the past 23 years Dr Akyurekli’s scope of practice has changed to meet community needs. His current areas of practice include Medical, Surgical and Laser treatment of skin cancer of the body and face, Liposuction, Aesthetic surgery of the body and face, Medical and Laser aesthetic treatments and scar management.

Dr. Julie Lockman is the Medical Director at both our Ottawa West and Embrun locations, and a true beauty advocate. She believes in positive ageing based on a healthy lifestyle and, why not, some injectables! She initially trained in 2006 and has been injecting since.
In 2022, as she transitioned to full-time aesthetics, she perfected her skills through extensive training using MD codes. As a physician injector, she has 25+ years of medical expertise, and offers comprehensive skin assessments as well as the treatment of various cutaneous conditions.
