What can you expect on Dermal Filler
Procedure & Recovery
There is very little downtime with most hyaluronic-based fillers. Some clients may experience slight swelling and bruising around the injection site which usually subsides within 24-48 hours.
The best way to reduce swelling is to elevate the head and apply cold compresses. Other clients experience little or no swelling and return to their normal activities immediately.
Recovery
Clients may experience swelling and bruising immediately after a Botox procedure. Headaches and numbness may also occur, and the injections may also affect the muscles surrounding the area of injection. These side effects are normal and expected. Your doctor may recommend pain medication for the discomfort, but ice packs are routinely recommended to reduce swelling.
The effects of BOTOX® will last about 4 months. After this, the muscles will slowly regain activity which will require further treatment. However, wrinkles and fine lines will appear less severe over time and with repeated injections.
