Dysport Aesthetic™ is right for you if you are 18-65 years of age and older in good health. Pregnant women and nursing mothers as well as clients with severe or life-threatening neuromuscular conditions and milk protein allergies are not candidates for these procedures.
What can you expect on Dysport
Procedure
Dysport Aesthetic™ can be administered in a clinical setting without anesthesia as it is virtually painless. The procedure takes approximately 10-15 minutes. While the full effects of Dysport will be visible within 2-3 days, noticeable changes can appear within 24 hours after injection.
Recovery
Clients may experience swelling and bruising immediately after a Dysport procedure. Headaches and numbness may also occur, and the injections may also affect the muscles surrounding the area of injection. These side effects are normal and expected. Your doctor may recommend pain medication for the discomfort, but ice packs are routinely recommended to reduce swelling.
The effects of Dysport usually last about 4 months. After this, muscle activity slowly returns to normal and at this point, further treatment may be required to maintain the desired effect.

Dysport Aesthetic™ is a neuromodulator which is used in cosmetic and medical applications.
Dysport is an injectable neuromodulator which is a purified derivative of the botulinum toxin from the bacteria that causes botulism.
The effects of Dysport last approximately 4 months.
Dysport begins to work within the first 24 hours after injection and the full effects may be visible within 3 days.
Results will vary from individual to individual, but generally, they both last about 4 months.
Dysport is used to relax muscle activity, smooth skin and prevent muscle spasms.
It is recommended that strenuous exercise be avoided for 24 hours following an injection of Dysport. In addition, avoid hot tubs, hot baths, saunas and tanning beds for the same 24-hour period.
Dysport is not available for purchase over-the-counter. It is available in medical aesthetics clinics, dermatology and plastic surgery clinics for administration by qualified and trained doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
The cost of Dysport varies depending on the use and the effect that is desired. The cost of the injections will be determined at your initial consultation appointment by your injector. The average cost per unit of Dysport is $8.
